BARRY Town Council (BTC) has been working in partnership with the Vale of Glamorgan Council over a number of years, to develop the land at Cemetery Approach.
The area has been transformed into community gardens and a community building for residents to enjoy.
The community building was subject to not one, but two arson attacks during its construction and so the council is are now in a position to ask you for ideas for its name as the project is nearing completion.

The council wants ideas on what to name the facility.
It will pic the favourites and put them to a public poll so that the people of Barry can help to decide the name of this key asset being built for the community and for our future generations to enjoy.
BTC will start to take bookings for hiring out this outstanding community venue from September 2020 - subject to covid-19 regulations - for birthday parties, wakes, family gatherings, meetings, events, training and local community group meetings.
