THE Vale council's online booking system for its household waste and recycling centres has opened following a website glitch.
The online booking system for the Atlantic Trading Estate Centre and Llandow opened at 9am, on Thursday, May 21.
But Vale residents reported that they were unable to book a slot on the system which is aimed at helping people comply with social distancing regulations, protecting residents and staff.
The centres have been closed since coronavirus lockdown measures were introduced on March 23.
It will not be possible to provide access or appointment for trailers or vans at this time.
Due to current demand, initially the council will be only be issuing one appointment slot per household, per month until further notice.
