A MUM-OF-FOUR from Sully is running an online fitness session which has so far had as many as 20,000 views.

Kath Sweeney has been running Kath Sweeney Pilates every Sunday through the coronavirus lockdown from 9.30am to 10am.

The 30-minute class is free and suitable for anyone aged 13 years plus.

Mrs Sweeney said: “I've had men and women and kids participate

“I'm quite enjoying the change to online never taught online before the coronavirus.

“It was always something I'd wanted to do, but with four children and lots of classes I never had the time.

“Before the coronavirus, I taught in Dinas Powys, Sully, Penarth, and also Saint David’s Hotel and am hoping to come to Barry once the coronavirus is over,

Mrs Sweeney has been teaching independently for six years.

“She added: “I teach Pilates Fitness for those looking for toning along with the usual benefits of pilates - improved core strength, flexibility, balance and strength.

“I also teach Pilates Gold for those young at heart.

“The Sunday class is suitable for all ages and I'll be doing it for free for however long isolation carries on.”
