A Barry Hotel, which has closed its doors due to the coronavirus pandemic, will remain open to NHS staff and other key workers.
Mount Rooms Hotel based in Barry will keep rooms open for key workers and will also include shopping service, laundry service and free take away breakfast – all of which have adapted to adhere to UK Government guidelines.
"As of today we are closed to the general public," said a spokesperson.
"We are opening our doors for NHS staff & key workers.
"We understand there are people in real need.
"Recognising so many wonderful NHS staff and key workers that are on the front line need to isolate themselves from their families, we decided to open our doors so that we can provide safe and clean accommodation to those in need."
