Newport Magistrates’ Court
A MAN is to face trial after he pleaded not guilty to a burglary charge.
Simon Birchill denied the allegation after appearing via video link at Newport Magistrates’ Court from Swansea Prison.
The 33-year-old, of Fisherman's Walk, Chepstow, is accused of committing a burglary at a home on Newport’s Chepstow Road on Saturday, March 21.

Birchill, who was represented by Darren Bishop, will face a trial on a date to be fixed.
He was granted conditional bail by Judge David Parsons.
