A PAEDOPHILE has avoided a prison sentence after he admitted distributing a child abuse image and possessing extreme pornography involving animals.
Amirreza Ramezani, 27, of Caerau Road, Newport, was handed a 12-month community order after he admitted the offences at the city’s magistrates’ court.
He also pleaded guilty to possessing an indecent photograph of a child.

Both child abuse charges related to a category C image.
All the offences were committed between April and August 2019.
Ramezani was ordered to carry out 160 hours of unpaid work in the community and complete a 30-day rehabilitation activity requirement.
Magistrates ordered that his phone be forfeited and destroyed and he must also pay a £90 surcharge and £85 costs.
Ramezani has to register as a sex offender for the next five years.
