TEAMS from the RNLI Barry Dock lifeboat, South Wales Fire service and Barry Coastguard were called to assist stranded teenager in The Old Harbour, at 4.15pm on Saturday, March 7.
The teenagers had been cut off by the incoming tide at The Old Harbour, near the Kilns, Barry, before 4.15pm.
They were assisted and taken to safety.
Penarth CRT was also tasked to assist.
Barry Coastguard, station officer, Chris Fletcher said: “Six teenagers had been walking in the old harbour, Not realising the tide was incoming and quickly found themselves cut off by the kilns.
“Four managed to climb up but two remained cut off.
“Barry Coastguard arrived and assisted them to safety.
“A lesson learnt and all returned to the parents safe and well.”
