Police in attendance
A ROAD closure is in place in Cogan, Penarth along Barry Road between the junction with Penarth Road and the turning into Llandough.
This follows the discovery of ordnance at an address on the road.
The closure is a precaution while a bomb disposal team attends.
A number of neighbouring properties have also been evacuated as a precautionary measure.
Motorists are advised to take alternative routes during rush hour.
