FRESH flood warnings have been issued for the Salisbury area after several weeks' worth of rain poured over the weekend.

The information comes from the government's live Flood Information Service, which has now issued two flood warnings, and eight alerts for the area.

A flood warning is when "Flooding is expected - immediate action required", whereas a alert is when "Flooding is possible - be prepared".

  • Wylye Valley - Groundwater flooding

  • Cranborne Chase - Groundwater flooding 
  • Salisbury Plain - Groundwater flooding
  • Middle Avon and tributaries
  • River Bourne and tributaries
  • River Ebble and tributaries
  • River Nadder and tributaries
  • River Wylye and tributaries
  • Upper Avon and tributaries
