THE annual television licence fee will see a £3 increase from April, 1 2020.
The new fee will be £157.50.
It works out at £3.02 per week, or £13.13 per month, and pays for BBC services which include nine national TV channels, and 10 national radio stations.
BBC local radio and websites, the BBC Sounds app and BBC iPlayer are also covered by the fee.
You must have a licence if you watch or record programmes as they're being shown on TV, or download or watch any BBC programmes on iPlayer.
