THREE Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Morgannwg have been offered a place to study at two of the best universities in the UK.
Sixth form pupils, Elly Greening and Huw Jones have been accepted to Oxford University while Twm Aled has been accepted to Cambridge University.
The Oxbridge Universities are considered to be among the best and the pupils endured long and thorough interviews and examinations to gain their places.
Elly Greening will be studying Biology in Magdalen College, University of Oxford, and Huw Jones will be studying Geography at Christ Church College, University of Oxford.
Twm Aled has been accepted to study English in Gonville and Caius College, University of Cambridge.
This is an excellent achievement for the pupils and also for the school.
This once again proves the success of this school and their bilingual education.
The pupils had been prepared thoroughly and individually by their teachers and mentors in the school.
Deputy headteacher, Catrin Bennett said: “We are delighted that three of our pupils have received offers for study at Oxbridge this year.
“They are not only talented, but also conscientious and charming young people.
“We are very proud of them.”
