THE family of a young man who died was killed in Barry town centre on Monday afternoon have paid tribute to him.
Jordan Davies, 23, of Barry, died following an alleged fata stabbing assault in Holton Road.
Mr Davies, of Barry, was stabbed in the busy shopping street.
Jordan Brown, 24, of Holton Road, was charged with his murder, in the early hours of yesterday.
Brown appeared in Cardiff Magistrates’ Court later in the morning, on the same day. He confirmed his name and address and gave his nationality as English. He was told he would next appear at Cardiff Crown Court and was remanded in custody. later in the day
Jordan Davies’ devastated family said yesterday, through police: “Jordan was a loving son, brother, and father of two young children.
“He was also a keen football player.
“Jordan will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
“We ask that our privacy is now respected during what is an extremely difficult time.”
Detectives are continuing to appeal to anyone with information to come forward.
