WEATHERMAN Walking presenter Derek Brockway is gearing up to burn off the Christmas excess with a Barry walk in aide of Velindre Cancer Care.
The Barry-born weather forecaster, is inviting people to dress up warm, and join him as he takes a stroll from Marco’s Café, Barry Island, to Mrs Marco’s Café, in Porthkerry Park, on Saturday, December 28.
The Velindre ambassador will take part in his fourth overseas challenge along the Great Wall of China in May 2020.
The walk costs £5 to join and a minimum sponsorship of £50 applies.
