There will be a window display competition for businesses across Barry with all invited to host an event throughout the day which will be included on a central map.

Sponsors Spectrum Collections said: "We are so happy to sponsor Barry Pride as local business women but most importantly as part of the local community.

"We've lived in Barry our whole lives and we love the town because of the general warmth of the people who live here too, it's a wonderful place to live and start a business.

"We want to share the feeling of support we had as a start-up and give back to the community through a celebration of love and mutual respect for all Barry residents.

"Barry's first Pride festival feels like an amazing opportunity to do so and we are very excited to celebrate with everyone."
