TORY leadership contender Boris Johnson made the obligatory politician eats ice-cream visit to Barry Island ahead of hustings in Cardiff.
Mr Johnson, accompanied by Secretary of State for Wales and Vale AM, Alun Cairns and an entourage stopped by Marco’s Café.
Mr Johnson spent around 20 minutes talking to people and shaking hands before heading to the All Nations Centre, in Cardiff, to a debate with rival Jeremy Hunt.
The leadership candidates took question from party members on Saturday, July 6.
Mr Cairns and Vale-based Tory AM, Andrew RT Davies have both backed Mr Johnson to be the next Tory leader and prime minister.
