A VALE hotel is back in full business after a “power outage” earlier today (June 25) caused parts of it to be temporarily closed down.
The Hensol-based Vale hotel and leisure club were closed due the the lack of power and the impact on health and safety.
Sales and marketing director at the Vale Resort, Paul Beddoe said: “After close collaboration with engineers, electrical contractors, our maintenance team,
“Western Power and SWALEC, I’m pleased to confirm that power has been restored to the Vale Hotel and Leisure Club, and normal service has been resumed.
“I’d like to thank our guests and leisure members for their on-going patience and understanding, and would like to, once again, apologise for any inconvenience that has been caused.”
A Western Power Distribution spokeswoman, before the problem was fixed, said: “This is a problem at the site of the customer.
“Our involvement has been that we have isolated their supply while their own contractors carry out work.”
