BORO's new shirt for the 2019-2020 season was unveiled by fan James Arthur ahead of his homecoming performance at Radio One's Big Weekend.
The Saltburn-raised singer surprised supporters with a glimpse of the new kit in a backstage selfie with Boro defender George Friend.
The red and white design features Principal Partner 32Red and has a vintage feel, modelled on the shirt worn in Boro’s season of success in 1987/88 with the team's second consecutive promotion to the top flight and its maiden journey to Wembley in the Zenith Data Systems Cup final the year after.
Boro supporters can pre-order their new home and goalkeeper shirts from Bank Holiday Monday, both instore and online.
