AN INDOOR car boot sale will take place in Barry’s St Francis Millennium Centre with proceeds going to a fund supporting mum, Martine Adams who has been diagnosed with a rare cancer.

The car boot sale, in the Park Road venue, will start at 2pm on Saturday, May 25.

Friend, Kath Thomas said: “We wanted to do something to support the fantastic fundraising that has happened so far for Martine Adams and her family and came up with the idea of an indoor car boot sale.

“We are selling pitches for £20 each with the proceeds going straight into the Martine’s fund.

“As well as the usual expectations of a car boot sale, there will be raffle tickets to buy with a selection of fantastic prizes from vouchers for Bay 5 and Paul Gentile to beauty and hair treatments from Blu Hair Design amongst others.

“There is also a star prize of a £70 voucher for The Casa Paco restaurant

“As always, the event will only be as successful as the number of people who visit our event on Saturday.

“Martine and her family are personally known to us all for different reasons and it will be a pleasure to support them at this challenging time.

“We invite anyone to please join us in supporting them too."
