AROUND 100 people turned out for the eighth annual Barry Walk of Witness on Good Friday, April 19.

The Churches of Barry lead a two-mile walk around the town starting at the Parade Gardens.

Walkers made their way up Ship Hill to the second station at Barry Railway Station where 'Jesus is tried by Pontus Pilate'.

The walkers continued along Broad Street to the third station at AG Adams where 'Simon of Cyrene helps Jesus carry the cross'.

Walkers then continued along Holton Road to arrive at the fourth and final station.

The Crucifixion featured and there were further readings, reflections and a hymn accompanied by the Salvation Army Band.
