EASTER Bunny trains are on track for operation this Easter Bank Holiday weekend.
Managing director of the Barry Tourist Railway, John Buxton has announced the vintage trains will run each day from Friday, April 19 until Monday, April 22.
Every child travelling will receive a free Lindt chocolate Easter bunny or a soft toy.
The Military Museum and café, in Barry Island Railway Station, will also be open on all four days.
Barry Tourist Railway will operate a 40 minute ‘out-and-back’ journey from Barry Island Station at 11.35 am, 1.10pm, 2.10pm and 3.10pm each day over the weekend, including a guided tour around the railway depot where the vintage trains are maintained and refurbished.
Mr Buxton said: “Come along, enjoy the ride, and take a look behind the scenes of a working heritage railway.
“Bring all the family and the dog if you have one – we’re dog friendly.”
He added that It promises fun for all the family.
