POLICE officers are appealing for information following a robbery at a convenience store in Barry, on Wednesday, March 19.
Detectives are investigating a robbery at Coldbrook Stores, in Coldbrook Road East, Barry, which took place yesterday at around 7pm.
Two men who concealed their faces made off with a quantity of cash from the till and assaulted a lone shopkeeper.
Enquiries are ongoing and detectives are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
Acting detective inspector, Chris Warner said: “The shopkeeper has been left shaken by this assault.
“I urge anyone with any information or who may have seen two men acting suspiciously in the area, to please come forward.”
