YSGOL Gymraeg Gwaun y Nant pupils ditched their usual school uniform and dressed in red for the day to support Comic Relief.
Year 2 pupils led a whole school assembly where they informed pupils and parents of the good work the charity does to help others across the world.
During the afternoon a Danceathon was held for the whole school.
Head teacher of the Gibbonsdown primary school, Rhydian Lloyd said: “Year 2 have been learning about people who help them.
"It is also important that they learn that they are able to help other by supporting a charity.
"The fact that they are doing so while having lots of fun is an added bonus.”
