SOUTH Wales Police is investigating a theft of lead from a school in Barry.
Sometime between 4pm on Friday, March 8 and 1.30pm on Tuesday, March 12, lead was stolen lead from the roof of Romilly Primary School, Romilly Road, in Barry.
The lead was a flat piece of the roof at approximately 10.5 ft long by 6ft wide.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen a person or people acting suspiciously in the area during this time to contact them.
They also want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the suspect or suspects gaining entry to the school and removing the lead from the school grounds.
