Barry town centre could be getting a new micro-pub, writes Matt Discombe.
The new micro-pub would serve cask ales and craft beers in an empty unit in Holton Road if an application is approved.
Cwmbran-based company BC18 Ltd has applied to open the new pub at the former Sports Nutrition Supplements store, which is now vacant.
It has applied to open from 11am to 11pm every day of the week.
A planning application for the new pub has been submitted to Vale of Glamorgan Council. Neighbours are being consulted.
The vacant shop is owned by Fresh Bacon Company Ltd.
