THE FAMILY of a man who died after being hit by a car have paid tribute to a "loving partner, brother and father."
A pedestrian, who can now be named as 60-year-old John Gee from Barry, died after the crash on the A48 between Newport and Cardiff at around 2pm on Sunday, April 29.
In a statement paying tribute, his family said: “John was a loving partner, brother and father.
"He was part of a large family and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
"We ask for some privacy so that we may grieve the loss of our loved one.”
