BARRY theatre director and producer Christian Bullen has thanked Vale residents for their support in making his musicals a success.
Director and founder of Superstars In The Making, Christian Bullen, offered his thanks following his group's success with The Addams Family at Barry’s Memo.
Mr Bullen began his directing career in Barry at the age of 14, leading Act4Fun children’s theatre in Windsor Road Church. In the second year of his degree, aged 19, he opened Superstars in the Making in 2009 as a way to nurture future talent.
Alumni of the academy are now training in world-class institutions in London and New York.
He is also directing a show for The Arts Educational Schools London, which opens this month, in April.
Mr Bullen said: “I am very grateful for the continued support from the people of my home-town.
“This support is what gives me the drive to continue my passion for creating professional theatre as well as sourcing further opportunities for talented local young people to reach their potential.
“The talent in Barry is inspirational and I will continue to fly the flag for those children who have the nerve and talent to pursue a career in this competitive industry.”
