THE Shop Local committee in Barry has launched an online survey to request feedback on how well the campaign is working.

Established in October 2016, Shop Local was set up by Barry Town Council and local traders to try to encourage people to utilise their local high street stores. As part of their promotional work, they have organised a series of events around the town across the past 18 months, including the Party on the Square last Summer, as well as putting together a Christmas video entitled '#verybarrychristmas'.

The survey asks respondents how much they have used the town centre over the past six months, and asks whether people's shopping habits have changed as a result of the campaign.

You can find the survey here.
