Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer jumped on board the new Barry Island Pleasure Park attraction to film aerial shots of Barry Island and Barry town for several hours, today on Tuesday, October 17.
Channel 4's flagship property series Location Location Location helps people in their search for the perfect home and property finding experts Ms Allsopp and Mr Spencer offer guidance to house hunters.
The 100-foot one million-pound giant Ferris Wheel opened for first public use on October 5.
Barry Island Pleasure Park owner, Henry Danter said: “They said they had heard a lot about Barry and they think it’s amazing what has happened to Barry. There was a lot of praise.
“They went around about 20 times. They wanted more and more. They couldn’t get enough of the big wheel. They said let’s go round a few times more. I couldn’t get them off.”
Mr Danter said he thought the Barry episode would feature in the forthcoming series and would either be screened at Christmas or in January next year.
“They were very impressed,” he added.
Daughter, Kimberley Danter said: “They said it was the best place they had filmed and was on the wheel for over an hour. They enjoyed it that much. They were so polite and lovely people.”
