PG10 celebrated Easter in style winning the Manchester International Cup.

The tournament which was played over two days featured teams from across the world from countries such as Malta, South Africa, France, Norway and Spain.

The under-9s were victorious beating Maltese side Paola Academy on penalties in the final.

The under-12s came third and the under-8s played in a fun festival.

Peter Griffiths, director of PG10, said: "We are thrilled for the children in what has been a superb season to date, we push for our players to play against international teams as it helps with their development and a great life experience.

"This season has seen a record number of players get snapped up by professional football club academies, already five players have gone to premier league clubs.

" Four former players have achieved international honours with Wales and England also.

"Playing in the Junior Premier League has helped the children's development as you are playing the best players the best teams on the best facilities week in week out."

PG10 now travel to Spain to link in with Malaga FC visiting and playing against the Spanish club visiting their academy 1st team training ground and stadium but also providing the players with the unique opportunity to watch Malaga FC versus Real Madrid and see their heroes Bale, Ronaldo, Ramos and co.
