RECEPTION pupils at Romilly Primary School, Barry, held an exhibition to show off their amazing artwork on Wednesday, July 6.
Parents were invited to view the children's work as a finale to their summer term topic of The Beach.
The year group received a grant from the Arts council of Wales' Go and See scheme which enabled them to visit the National Museum of Wales in Cardiff.
There, the children were taken on a tour of the Natural History and Art galleries and also had the opportunity to participate in a printmaking workshop with artist Helen Clifford.
Back at school, the children enjoyed a whole week of fantastic art activities where they looked at the work of several artists and tried out lots of different art techniques including printmaking, collage, painting, weaving and sculpture.
More pictures from the children are available on the school's website at romillyprimaryschool.co.uk
