MTV series Dirty Sanchez star Matthew Pritchard took on an inspirational challenge when he visited a Barry primary school on Wednesday, May 11.
Mr Pritchard visited Oak Field primary school, in Gibbonsdown, to share with pupils his experience of completing his recent challenge ironman challenge.
The 43-year-old Pritchard completed 30 half ironman triathlons in 30 days, travelling all across Wales in March.
He covered 70.3 miles, including a 1.2 mile swim, 56 miles cycling and 13.1 miles running and gained a world record.
A school spokeswoman said: “He talked to the children about the importance of exercise, eating well and aiming for your goals. He was an inspiration to staff and pupils alike and this was helped by Matt taking the children and staff on a one mile run around the school grounds.
“The children felt motivated and refreshed ready for learning after their run and hopefully this will continue over the coming months.”
