SULLY U3A recently held its annual open meeting. As usual this was very popular with members and the public.
The open meeting is an opportunity for the groups to showcase their activities and the hall was full all afternoon with people chatting and admiring the work of groups such as art, photography and Knitters and Stitchers.
Sully U3A has almost 30 groups and during the afternoon more than 30 new members joined, bringing membership to well over 300.
The next meeting will be on Thursday, September 10, at 2pm in The Old School, Sully, when Professor Chris Williams will be speaking on Cartooning the First World War.
New members are always welcome.
