POLICE in Barry are appealing for witnesses to an assault which happened at Barry Island last week.
At 3.20pm on Thursday, April 9 officers were called to the area in the afternoon and spoke to three members of the public who had witnessed an altercation between two men.
A 44-year-old man was arrested by police and is on police bail pending further enquiries.
There was believed to be a group of adults and children outside Marco’s Café around the time of the incident who officers would like to trace as they may hold important information that may help them with their enquiries.
