TEACHERS from a Barry primary school have given their pupils the nod to enjoy 40 winks as they learnt.
Youngsters from Oak Field primary, in Gibbonsdown, enjoyed a sleepover at the Urdd facilities at the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff Bay, on Thursday, November 6 and Friday, November 7.
The children went bowling and visited the Cardiff Bay Barrage, taking a river boat trip along the River Taff to the Millennium Stadium.
A school spokeswoman said: “The weary travellers returned to school on Friday.”
