A COFFEE morning in aid of a breast cancer charity was a huge success after drinkers raised more than £1,800.
Women at the Top to Toe exercise class were joined at their charity coffee morning, earlier this month, by Vale MP Alun Cairns, who stayed for coffee and a chat at St David’s church hall, in Barry.
The event organised by Debby Griffiths, of Barclays, raised £940 which will be match funded pound for pound giving Breakthrough Breast Cancer research a total donation of £1,880.
Members thanked all those who attended, made cakes, and gave donations or their time to make the event such a great success.
