A BARRY qualified lifeguard and keen footballer has been signed up by a leading quantity surveyors.
Elliot Ball, who played for Swansea City AFC academy, has joined South Wales international construction consultants Lewis & Lewis Ltd who have made him a key appointment to further bolster its team of specialists as its order book grows.
The well-established Newport-headquartered chartered quantity surveyors business has recruited university undergraduate Elliot as an assistant quantity surveyor.
Elliot, who is studying quantity surveying at Sheffield Hallam University, is a former pupil at the Bishop of Llandaff High School.
Lewis and Lewis Ltd Director of Corporate & Client Services for the UK & Middle East, Lewis Lewis, said: “We are delighted to welcome Elliot to the team at what is a very busy and stimulating time for the business.
“We’re heavily involved in a range of challenging and exciting projects which will certainly put Elliot’s skills to the test while helping to develop further his talents and experience as a quantity surveyor.”
Keen footballer Elliot said: “I am extremely pleased to have been offered the excellent opportunity to join the team at Lewis & Lewis. The position will allow me to develop skills that can only be transferred through a physical working environment.
“I will be assigned my own projects to see from conception through to completion which will be a great gauge to track my progression. This year will stand me in good stead for obtaining a higher grade in my final year at university.”
