PUPILS at a Barry primary went back to nature to bag an award during a week-long trip to an outdoor learning centre.
Year 6 Colcot Primary school pupils visited the National Trust outdoor learning centre in Stackpole, Pembrokeshire.
All the children took part in a variety of challenging and adventurous activities.
A school spokeswoman said: “They spent the week learning about the local environment and all were successful in achieving the John Muir Discovery Award. The award has four challenges, to discover, explore, conserve and share the experiences of a wild place and the children certainly had the opportunity to do all of that during the fun packed week.”
