CHILDREN in Barry have the chance to design a Christmas light which will take pride of place in the High street next Christmas
Barry Town Council is asking all children of primary school age in Barry to draw a Christmas picture depicting what they think Christmas means to them.
The winning picture will be made into a Christmas light by the Festive Lighting Company which will take pride of place in the High Street Christmas lights display in December 2014.
To enter children can draw their design on an entry form from www.barrytowncouncil.gov.uk/news.php
Entries should be kept as simple as possible, using a maximum of six colours and then posted to Barry Town Council, 7 Gladstone Road, Barry, CF62 8NA.
The deadline for entries is January 31.
