THE Memo Arts Centre will screen the live performance of National Theatre's Twelfth Night tonight (April 6).

Tamsin Greig is Malvolia in a new twist on Shakespeare’s classic comedy of mistaken identity.

A ship is wrecked on the rocks. Viola is washed ashore but her twin brother Sebastian is lost.

Determined to survive on her own, she steps out to explore a new land. So begins a whirlwind of mistaken identity and unrequited love.

Tickets to the performance at 7pm cost £13 or £11 for concessions.

On Tuesday, April 11, the Memo will screen the Royal Ballet's production of Jewels at 7.15pm.

The Royal Ballet’s production of Jewels is a love letter to ballet, told through the beauty that is ‘Emeralds,’ ‘Rubies’ and ‘Diamonds’.

Inspired by the beauty of the gem stones twinkling in the shop window of jewellers Van Cleef and Arpels in New York, American choreographer George Balanchine went on to make history with Jewels as the first three-act abstract ballet.

First performed in full by The Royal Ballet in 2007, each of the three movements represents a stage in the development of classical ballet with a different stone for its inspiration and a different composer for the music.

Each act salutes a different era in classical ballet’s history as well as a distinct period in Balanchine’s own life. Through it all, Balanchine displays his genius for combining music with visionary choreography.

Then from April 7-10, Wednesday, April 12, Thursday, April 13 and Tuesday, April 18, will be the screening of Beauty and the Beast (PG).

Retelling the timeless tale for a new generation, Beauty And The Beast is the story of Belle, a spirited, intelligent and beautiful woman who is taken prisoner by a beast.

Trapped and alone, she gradually begins to befriend the castle’s enchanted staff – Cogsworth the clock, Lumiere the candlestick and Mrs Potts the teapot.

And over time, she learns to look past her captor’s monstrous appearance, beginning to fall for the kind-hearted prince he once was.

Advanced tickets cost £3 and ones purchased on the door cost £3.50.

Then on Saturday, April 8, will be Welsh Wrestling Live at 7pm and then Suburban Disco at 8pm.

Come join the Memo for an evening of glitz, glamour and bodyslam action as the Welsh Wrestling roadshow heads to the theatre.

Tickets cost £12 for adults, £9 for child under-16 or £35 for a group of 4.

Then there will be an evening of dancing including soul, funk, old school disco, Northern soul, Reggae, electro and rock and roll. Suburban Disco are doing a disco for grown-ups at the Memo and they will be taking requests.
