A VERY high profile event for Barry Male Voice Choir will take place on Saturday, October 5.
A gala concert at Llandaff Cathedral will also feature Cor Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Morgannwg and the Wessex Male Voice Choir .
The audience will include Di Davies, granddaughter of the Barry Male Voice founder D. J. Thomas.
Mrs Davies, her husband Gareth and family are travelling from Yorkshire for the concert.
D.J., as he was affectionately known, was conductor of Barry Male Voice Choir for 40 years.
Mr and Mrs Davies recently called in at rehearsal while on holiday in Pembrokeshire.where a presentation was made by choir archivists John Shewring and Les Phillips.
The concert is in aid of Pancreatic cancer research
Tickets for this special event are £12.50, children (under 16) and £5.
