A DARK comedy based on Joe Orton's comedy LOOT is touring Wales this autumn.

The production is co-produced by Black RAT Productions and Blackwood Miners Institute, and supported by Arts Council Wales.

Directed by Richard Tunley, the satirical performance follows the slapstick adventures of two young friends who stash stolen money in a coffin.

Hilarity and macabre ensues, with the cast including: Julie Barclay, Sam Davies, Sarah-Jayne Hopkins, Rick Yale, and newcomers John Cording and Gareth Tempest.

Sean Crowley designed the production, with Robin Bainbridge responsible for lighting.

LOOT will open at Blackwood Miners Institute on October 2, where it will be performed for three evenings, before touring 17 venues throughout Wales.
