CLASSICAL music is heading to Barry this weekend for the Barry Arts Festival.
On Friday, July 29, the Artemis Trio will perform at St Mary's Church as part of the festival which is sponsored by Barry Town Council and Newydd Housing.
The group was formed in 2014 at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama by Alex Griffiths (flute), Lowri Thomas (Viola) and Megan Morris (harp).
The trio won the Cardiff Violins Chamber Prize in 2015 and play across Wales as part of the Music in Hospitals scheme.
The concert at St Mary’s Church on Holton Road, Barry, begins at 7pm and tickets cost £5. Tickets are available from 07982 319456 or at the door.
