AUDIENCES will have the power in the third concert of the Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra’s 2015/16 season with Vote Overture on Friday, March 18.
Before the concert, audiences can decide on what top ten overtures they would like to hear, but be quick as voting closes on Sunday, January 31.
This exciting and interactive show allows you to select nine of your favourite overtures, which are selected from a list and a Wild Card overture which is completely your decision.
All you have to do is visit stdavidshallcardiff.co.uk and fill out the Vote Overture slip by selecting nine overtures from the list – also available on the website – then put in your Wild Card.
Email your votes to SDHpress@cardiff.gov.uk with the subject line Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra – Vote Overture or post them to St David’s Hall, The Hayes, Cardiff, CF10 1AH. Alternatively you can pick up a voting slip and overtures list from the box office and drop off your vote in the ballot box.
If you’ve never experienced the thrill of an orchestra performing at full flow in one of Europe’s finest acoustic concert halls, the starting price of just £5 won’t break the bank for first-timers.
Tickets cost £5, £8, £10, £16 and £22. For under-16s they cost £5 and tickets for 16-25 year olds cost £7 (proof of age required).
Please note that all tickets are subject to a £2.95 Ticket Service Charge per transaction and an optional 95p postage fee.
To book your seats, please visit stdavidshallcardiff.co.uk or call the box office on 029 2087 8444.
