FOUR gardens in Barry will open for the National Gardens Scheme on Saturday, July 26.

Of differing styles, the garden at 47 Aneurin Road is an ever changing small vertical garden with a collection of over 30 clematis.

Cae Gwyn is a large secret garden with many attractive features including a large pond, gravel garden, pergolas and sweeping lawns.

28 Port Road is a mini smallholding with lots of creative, eccentric touches, lush, unmanicured, jungly feel with meandering paths.

76 Port Road is a newly developed garden with stunning views over the Vale, a wonderful old greenhouse and newly planted borders with more to come.

Gardens open between 1pm-5.30pm, admission £5.

The National Gardens Scheme opens thousands of outstanding gardens throughout Wales to raise money for nursing and caring charities. Most of the gardens are private and never otherwise open to visitors.
