T4K Theatre 4 Kids recently held their 8th annual MYRAS Awards.

The awards celebrate the achievements of members over the past year and are held in memory of the late Myra Parsons, whose love of the arts, hard work and dedication will never be forgotten by T4K. At the awards every member receives a medal based on reaching a personal milestone of their own and there are six special awards for the highest achievers who for 2013 are:

Most Improved - Nikita Rees

Young Performer - Charlotte Murray

Rare Talent - Callum Jones

Attitude and Dedication - Emily Murray

Special Overall - Bradley Peters

The Harry Damsell award, introduced in 2012 for outstanding achievement, was won by Tilly Everitt. Tilly was thrilled to receive the award and said she had never expected to win the top award. T4K tutor Lynne Cross said: "Tilly was a most deserved winner, her performance in our recent show DAZZLE! was indeed outstanding and her commitment throughout the year has been commendable. Tilly is a fantastic ambassador for the teenagers of today."
