WORLD class musician/singer Matt Andersen will appear at The Memo Arts Centre on Saturday, June 29, as part of his month long UK tour.

A giant of man with a voice to match, Matt has firmly established himself as one of Canada's brightest new roots music stars.

Since winning the International Blues Challenge in 2010 which has allowed him to play major blues festivals across the US and Europe the increasing hype has been justified with the release of his seventh cd 'Coal Mining Blues' produced by Colin Linden at Levon Helm's Woodstock NY studio; featuring The Band's keyboard player Garth Hudson and Olabelle singer Amy Helm. Matt performs over 200 shows a year and in 2011 won The Maple Leaf Blues award for Entertainer of the Year and Best Acoustic Act.

As Matt continues to do what he was born to do - play his exhilirating music - fans can look forward to many great nights!
