Chepstow Walking Festival
This popular festival has now become firmly established on the UK’s walking calendar. A programme of 35 walks and several fringe events aim to showcase the rich heritage and beautiful landscape of the Lower Wye Valley and beyond. Walks vary in length between 2 - 13 miles led by local experienced walk leaders & guides who either live or work in the area. There is nothing like local knowledge to take you to places that are less frequented but equally beautiful and interesting.

Guest walk leaders this year are Dr Mark Lewis Senior Curator at The Roman Legion Museum Caerleon who will be leading a walk exploring the Roman town of Caerwent, David Morgan, Chair of Long Distance Walkers Association creator of Monmouthshire Way will be leading the last stage of the trail from Rogiet back to Chepstow. A visit to a local ice cream producer and an encounter with Llamas and much much more. The festival gives the opportunity to reunite with friends & meet like minded people.
