MARINE WORKS (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT) REGULATIONS 2007 NOTIFICATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT CONSENT DECISION AGGREGATE DREDGING ACTIVITY IN AREA 526,
BRISTOL CHANNEL NOTICE is hereby given that Natural Resources Wales has considered the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) in accordance with the Marine Works (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2007 as amended ('the EIA Regulations') in relation to marine aggregate dredging in Area 526.
NOTICE is hereby given that Natural Resources Wales has considered the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) in accordance with the Marine Works (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2007 as amended ('the EIA Regulations') in relation to marine aggregate dredging in Area 526.
In accordance with Regulation 22 of the EIA Regulations, Natural Resources Wales has decided to grant, subject to certain conditions being imposed EIA consent for the project. The Marine Management Organisation has deferred to this decision.
Full details of the decision, including, the main reasons and considerations on which the EIA consent decision was based are available in the public register and may be obtained:
Electronically on the marine licence EIA Consent Decision register on our website: www.naturalresourceswales.gov.uk;
In hard copy from the address below (a charge not exceeding a reasonable amount for copying may be made);
By inspection during normal office/opening hours of 9am to 5pm on Monday to Friday free of charge and on prior appointment at the offices of Natural Resources Wales, Cambria House, 29 Newport Road, Cardiff, CF24 OTP.

The exercise of certain functions of the Welsh Ministers as the appropriate licensing authority under the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009 have been delegated to Natural Resources Wales. The EIA regulations implement European Directive 2011/92/EU ('the EIA Directive') on the assessment of the effects of certain projects on the environment. The EIA Regulations specify the circumstances in which an environmental impact assessment (EIA) is required in relation to certain marine works. The consideration of the EIA for the above project was carried out following an application for a marine licence under the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009. Natural Resources Wales must ensure that applications for activities that require an EIA comply with the EIA Regulations before a decision on the application for a marine licence can be made.
RHEOLIADAU GWAITH MOROL (ASESU
EFFEITHIAU AMGYLCHEDDOL) 2007 HYSBYSIAD O BENDERFYNIAD CANIATAU
ASESIAD EFFAITH AMGYLCHEDDOL
GWAITH CARTHU AGREGAU YN ARDAL 526, MOR HAFREN
Hysbysir drwy hyn fod Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru wedi ystyred yr Asesiad Effaith Amgylcheddol (EIA) yn unol a'r Rheoliadau Gwaith Morol (AsesuEffeithiau Amgylcheddol) 2007 fel y cawsanteu hamodi ('Rheoliadau EIA') yng nghyd-destun gwaith carthu agregau yn Ardal 526. Yn unol a Rheoliad 22 o Reoliadau'r EIA, mae Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru wedi penderfynu rhoi caniatad, yn amodol ar weithredu rhai amodau, EIA ar gyfer y prosiect. Mae'r Sefydliad Rheoli Morol wedi ildio i'r penderfyniad hwn. Mae manylion llawn y penderfyniad, gan gynnwys y prif resymau ac ystyriaethau y seiliwyd y penderfyniad caniatad EIA arnynt, ar gael yn y gofrestr gyhoeddus, ac mae modd eu cael:
? Yn electronaidd ar gofrestr Penderfyniad Caniatad EIA am drwydded forol ar ein gwefan: www.naturalresourceswales.gov.uk;
Mewn copi caled oddi wrth y cyfeiriad isod (gellir codi tal nad yw'n fwy na swm rhesymol ar gyfer copi'o);
Drwy archwilio yn ystod oriau swyddfa/agor arferol, sef 9am tan 5pm ddydd Llun tan ddydd Gwener, yn rhad ac am ddim, a thrwy apwyntiad blaenorol yn swyddfeydd Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru, Ty Cambria, 29 Ffordd Casnewydd, Caerdydd, CF24 0TP.
Dirprwywyd gweithredoedd rhai o swyddogaethau Gweinidogion Cymru yn eu rol fel yr awdurdod trwyddedu priodol o dan Ddeddfy Myr a Mynediad i'r Arfordir 2009 i Gyfoeth Naturiol Cymru. Mae Rheoliadau'r EIA yn gweithredu Cyfarwyddeb Ewropeaidd 2011/92/EU ('Cyfarwyddeb yr EIA') ar asesu effeithiau rhai prosiectau ar yr amgylchedd. Mae Rheoliadau'r EIA yn nodi amgylchiadau pan fydd angen asesu effeithiau amgylcheddol yng nghyd-destun gwaith morol. Gwnaed ystyriaeth o'r EIA ar gyfer y prosiect uchod o ganlyniad i gais am drwydded forol o dan Ddeddfy Mor a Mynediad i'r Arfordir2009. Rhaid i Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru sicrhau fod ceisiadau ar gyfer gweithgareddau sydd angen EIA yn cydymffurfio a Rheoliadau'r EIAcyn y gellir gwneud penderfyniad ar gais am drwydded forol.
