Joan Martyn
MARTYN Joan Margaret (nee Austin) Peacefully at home on 4th March 2022. Joan aged 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Jack, much loved Mam of the late Austin, a loved mother-in-law of Sue and adored Gran to Bleddyn, Iolo, Sam, Jack and the late Cymfab, also a loved Great Gran to Iestyn, Harri, Taylor and Alfie. Joan will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Resting at A G Adams Funeralcare until the service at Cardiff & Glamorgan Crematorium on Tuesday 29th March at 11am. Flowers may be sent or donations in lieu if so desired in Joans memory for The Blind Veterans UK www.blindveteransuk.org.uk

I am going out on a limb and write a note of sympathy to a person who I believe is the same Joan Martyn that lived on Aberystwydd Crescent. As a child, i have extremely fond and loving memories of the Martyn family, owning a construction company and were neighbours four houses away. Growing up on this crescent all neighbours looked after each other supporting celebrating the good times and the bad. The Queen's coronation street party being most memorable. Should I have the wrong Martyn family, I still extend my sincere sympathies.
