WEIR Valerie It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that the family announce the passing of Val, aged 93 years, on 13th July. Devoted mother of Lynne and the late Philip and partner Pauline, cherished grandma of Victoria and Alexandra, adored great grandma of Zac, Zara and Charlie. Val will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Resting in the care of W. James & Sons, Fonmon until the celebration of Val's life at All Saints Church, Barry, on Tuesday 27th July at 11am, followed by cremation at Cardiff & Glamorgan Crematorium, Barry. Private funeral by invite only due to covid guidelines. Family floral tributes only. Donations, if desired, may be made to Marie Curie Penarth c/o Lynne Bolton

I am so sorry for the families loss. Mrs Weir taught me 45 years ago and up until the past 2 years, every time I saw her she always had time for a quick chat and was genuinely interested in my life and family. Remembered with a lot of love and affection. Rest easy Mrs Weir. Its hometime ****
